I. Matters regarding the amended announcement by the Pingtung County Government on June 18, 2025, concerning the "Scope, Rate, and Methods of Collecting Tourism Conservation Fees in the Natural and Cultural Ecological Scenic Area of Liuchiu Township, Pingtung County" are as follows: 
  • (1) Scope of Collection: Shanfu, Yuchengwei, Duzaiping, and Geban Bay intertidal zones. 
  • (2) Fee Rate: NT$60 per person in full. (Exempt from collection: Residents of Liuchiu Township, children under 3 years old, persons with mental or physical disabilities and 1 necessary companion). 
  • (3) Method of Payment: Purchase tickets at 7-ELEVEN ibon kiosks nationwide or through the ibon Ticketing System (URL: https://ticket.ibon.com.tw/). 
  • (4) Ticket Validity Period: Valid until November 30; to be used in any one selected area among the Shanfu, Yuchengwei, Duzaiping, or Geban Bay intertidal zones. 
  • (5) Guide Requirement: Please apply for a professional tour guide to accompany entry in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 of the Act for Development of Tourism. 
  • (6) Attachments: The ibon operation Q&A, intertidal zone entry workflow, and promotional posters are detailed in the attachments. 

II. Matters regarding the announcement by the Pingtung County Government on June 20, 2025, concerning the "Liuchiu and Checheng Aquatic Organisms Propagation and Conservation Zones and Relevant Restrictions" are as follows: 
  • (1) Addition of Zones: The boundaries, protected subjects, and restrictive matters for the Geban Bay Intertidal Zone Conservation Demonstration Area and the Lobster Cave Core Zone within the Liuchiu Aquatic Organisms Propagation and Conservation Zone have been newly added. (Amended Provisions: Article 4, Paragraph 2 and Article 4, Paragraph 4) 
  • (2) Universal Protection for Sea Urchins: The text stating "excluding Echinometra mathaei (Mathae's sea urchin) and Stomopneustes variolaris (black sea urchin)" has been deleted. (Amended Provisions: Article 4, Paragraph 1 to Paragraph 5) 
  • (3) Ecological Balance & Project Permits: If organism removal (such as Echinometra mathaei or Stomopneustes variolaris) needs to be conducted to maintain ecological balance, it shall be handled as a special project in the future, and harvesting may only begin after approval is granted. (Amended Provisions: Article 8, Paragraph 1)
